Well, although it does not excuse in any way the mean, spiteful, and quite possibly unforgiveable things my mother said to me, I may have just found out why she was "set off" so easily.
*sigh*

Holy, I think I understand why she lashed out at you then. Doesn't excuse it though.
I'm sorry things are so bad for you with your family. I really hope that I can come by to visit you when I am out west. It would make me a happy girl! Maybe we could cheer each other up? :)
That could certinaly be the reason she lashed out at you.
Maybe this is what your sister needed to turn her life around, now that she'll be responsible for another human being, it may motivate her to start taking better care of herself.

My Mum does have a nasty habit of lashing out at me when things with my sister are bad. However, this time she has gone too far.
I really need to de-stress... especially before Thursday when I have my next prenatal appointment, or my blood pressure may be through the roof!
